Marcel Vandieken assists his clients in all areas of digital transformation. Clients benefit from his broad expertise in the development of digital transformation strategies, the establishment of new business segments and the customer-oriented alignment of current organisations thanks to his cross-sectoral experience within energy, insurance, pharmaceuticals, banking, automotive and industrial production. Marcel Vandieken is also a lecturer for digital transformation at ESCP Europe in Berlin, one of the world’s foremost business schools. At SMP, he advises numerous DAX-listed companies and prestigious German SMEs.
Prior to joining SMP Marcel Vandieken was in charge of one of Germany’s largest digital agencies with almost 700 employees as Chief Strategy Officer & Managing Partner at the UDG United Digital Group. He also founded a start-up a few years ago, launching a ‘locational networking app’ with data-based monetisation model, and has since maintained a strong network in the young entrepreneur’s scene. He completed his studies of business administration in Düsseldorf, Los Angeles and San Diego.
The passionate chef (and barbecue expert) lives with his wife in Düsseldorf and enjoys spending his leisure time in other European countries and the USA.
