Felix Schwerin
Felix Schwerin has been advising companies in the energy, pharmaceutical and financial services industries at SMP since 2005 – especially in the development of innovative business models and customer orientation in service and sales structures. He earned his spurs as a specialist for customer and service management at a medium-sized consultancy firm.
His goal at SMP: achieving measurable market success for his clients – through revenue growth, reduced churn, a demonstrable increase in quality of customer cultivation or other metrics.
The graduate of business administration studied at the universities of Maastricht and Oslo, majoring in corporate finance and international strategy.
Outside of SMP, his goals are located all over the world: Felix Schwerin travels whenever he finds the time. Short or longer trips – it doesn’t matter. Whatever broadens the horizon.
I really need to enjoy what I do; it’s essential. The entrepreneurial passion among all SMP consultants, the generous freedom to develop our business segments and the extraordinary atmosphere in the team have confirmed to me that this is my professional home since I joined SMP in 2005.
I am proud of how we consistently manage here at SMP to build our expertise in different areas and to transfer our know-how from one industry to others. Not only in the field of digitalisation. That’s why I am already looking forward to the next exciting and demanding projects.

Your favourite pass-time after a successful day at work?
You need to celebrate achievements – with lots of people or a select few.
Which adventure is on your agenda?
Travelling to every hidden corner of Africa.
What was your biggest achievement at SMP?
Firmly establishing another sector in the SMP portfolio, also thanks to my dedicated colleagues. It gives our business model another leg to stand on.

Who are your role models and why?
Joey Cape (musician) – not really a household name, but an exceptionally gifted artist. Down-to-earth, but always passionate about what he does. And he is a genius at it!
What would make your happiness complete?
More stability and predictability ... life is a circle, drifting in and out of orbit.
