Strategist and implementer all in one
Ingo Marjan's main focus is to help his clients meet challenges in sales and customer management. In this regard, he advises companies, for example on activating their sales organizations or and working through existing clients systematically. His clients include leading insurers and banks.
Before SMP was founded in 1998, Ingo Marjan worked at Boston Consulting Group in Düsseldorf and Boston. There, he advised clients primarily on optimizing their marketing and sales strategies. He began his professional career as an executive assistant at Joh Vaillant in Remscheid.
Ingo Marjan studied business administration at the University of Muenster, with an emphasis on general management, marketing and statistics. Before that, he trained as an industrial trader.
Ingo Marjan is married and has one son. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, skiing and is a keen supporter of Borussia Mönchengladbach.
I love competition. I just get bored if I can't compete against someone else But I'm not a deadly serious person. Quite the opposite, actually. I love to laugh and I laugh a lot. Because ambition is not enough. Winning requires being cool and self-confident too.
And that's just how SMP works as well. If it ever happens that our clients lose their cool in a crisis situation, then we always bring them back onto the road to success. With discipline and perseverance - and a little bit of humour.
